Chicago




































Decided on a late start to day and had breakfast at IHOP at 9am, had Sausage, eggs Hash and pancakes for breakfast, before going to the hotel to take the free shuttle bus to O'Hare Airport and finding our Way to the Blue line Subway in to the city, we switch on to a Green line train to travel 3 stops around the elevated loop (The 'L') From there we had a short walk the METRA's Millennium Station on the Electric District, which we rode to 55th Street on Cars

We then walked over to the Museum of Science and Industry. Our aim here was to see the Submarine, Space flight section, Railway and Aircraft exhibits. We then found a coffee shop that did a very good cup of English Breakfast tea. It was back to the METRA Train then for a ride the South Chicago Branch and return to the city

After a taxi ride to Union Station we were able to catch a Metra NCS line train to O'Hare Transfer

From here we transfer on to a shuttle but to the Airport Transit system which is a guided busway having cars 02 + 10 for the length of the line. Finally to the ground transportation center and a free bus back to the hotel.

We decided on Pizza for tea, we chose Gino's East as featured on Man v Food from the travel channel having a deep pan meat feast Paul only managed 1 slice, I struggled to eat 2, leaving 4 slices left, was very very big, and only a medium sized on on the menu. Then it was back to the hotel to recover and warm up as the weather had turn colder during the day
